DF type of High Lift Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal Mining Water Pumps are used for transmission of corrosive water from Mine well or similar liquid free of solid particles and temperature arrange -20℃~105℃.

Materails also can be cast iron, ductile iron, stainless steel or as required.

Nomenclature:

DF450-60 High Lift Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal Mining Water Pump

DF means corrosion resistant multistage centrifugal pump

450 means the design point of capacity of the pump is 450m3/h,equivalent as 7500L/Min.

60 means the design point of single-stage head is 60m

(A)The High Lift Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal Mining Water Pump assembly

Assembly sequence reverses that of disassembly. Following points shall be concerned as they will have effect on normal operation, durability and performance of the pump:

1) Machining accuracy and surface roughness shall be checked and protected. Avoid any scratch and the sealing part shall be clean: Stress on bolts shall be even and well distributed.

2) Concentricity of discharging path of impeller and inlet path of diffuser (guide vane) depends on the dimensions of all parts. The concentricity of matching parts affects the performance of the pump, and therefore the dimension of all parts shall not be modified freely.

3) Rotate the rotor of the pump manually to check its flexibility and check the shaft axial movement within the design requirement before filling any packing material after assembly.

4) Press the packing material after qualification of axial movement and make sure the packing ring in the right position.

(B)Precautions of disassembly

1) Stop the pump by steps;

2) Discharge any liquid inside the pump including cooling water and thin lubricating oil for the bearings.

3) Any pipelines and wires shall be dismounted or remove including balancing tube, water sealing tube and lead wire.

4) Any harm to the parts precision shall be avoided: Cushion blocks are being used when the tie bolt is dismounted for the purpose of any stages loosening which may bend the shaft.

(C)Pump disassembly sequence

1) Dismount the coupling joint first and then unscrew the bolts of bearing gland at the opposite side and the bolts among discharge casing, packing gland and bearing housing. Dismount bearing gland and bearing housing etc.

2) Unscrew nuts of the shaft and dismount the internal ring, pressing gland of the bearing and the rubber ring, then sequentially: packing box (including packing gland, packing ring, packing materials) or mechanical seal parts.

3) Dismount sealing O- ring, shaft sleeve, balancing disk and flat keys on the shaft and then dismount the discharge casing, end guide vane, and balancing sleeve and balancing ring.

4) Dismount flat key and then stage casing, guide vane, impeller sequentially till front guide vane.

5) Unscrew the bolts between suction casing and bearing housing and then bearing gland: Dismount the bearing housing.

6) Withdraw the shaft from the suction casing and unscrew nuts on the shaft. Then dismount internal bearing ring, sealing o-ring and shaft sleeve sequentially,

7) Above dismounting sequences are applicable to the pump with sliding bearing, the only difference is dismounting the bearing parts.

DY/DY (P) types of multistage pump used for transmission of non-solid oily liquid and petroleum product with temperature range of -20 ~ 105 and viscosity less than 120cst.

MD/MD (P) types of multistage pump used for transmission of neutral liquid from mining well or other similar liquid. The density and size of the particles of the sewage shall be less than 1.5% and 0.5mm respectively. The temperature range of the sewage shall be -20 ~ 80.

DG/DG (P) types of multistage pump used for low and medium pressure hot water transmission, also named as boiler feed pump. Temperature ranges from -20 ~ 150.

All the max suction pressure shall be 0.6Mpa.
