Electric submersible pump Features:
1.An electric submersible pumping system consists of three parts, which includes surface part, middle part and downhole ESP. Surface part mainly includes transformer, switchboard, junction box, wellhead and surface cable. Middle part is power cable and cable extension which connect surface and downhole equipment and provide motor with power. Downhole part is the main part of the system which includes electric submergible motor, protector, gas separator and multi-stage centrifugal pump.
2.ESP system is applicable to the production casing of 5″,5 1/2", 7″,8 5/8",9 5/8" and above.
3.Capacity:200-25160BPD (30—4000m3/d).

Notes on electric submersible Pump Selection:
1.Larger diameter pumps and motor are less expensive and they operate at higher efficiencies.
2.Select the highest efficient pump that will fit in the casing
3.If the well’s production capacity is not accurately known, choose a pump with a steep characteristic curve.
4.If desired volume falls at a point where two pumps have approximately the same efficiency, choose the pump type which requires the greater number of stages.
5.If gas is present in the produced fluid, a gas separator may be required to achieve efficient operation.
6.In wells with viscous fluids or emulsions, some pump corrections may be necessary to ensure more efficient operation, hence, working with a service company personnel will be expedient.
7.In most cases there will be two or three pumps that meet the volume and diameter requirements. A comparison of efficiencies, expected production changes and actual pump efficiencies are used to select the optimum pump.
